Trisha and Rahul’s love story is what fairytales are made of. Rahul had a massive crush on Trisha since they were in school together. They were always in the same social circle but never got the chance to spend time with each other. Years later, through a mutual friend they decided to give each other a chance and they have been together ever since! It sounds like a beautifully created fiction, but in their case it’s true! “You can see the love in their eyes”, is not a cliché for them. The love in their eyes is so palpable that you can see it even in their wedding photos.
Their pre-wedding was shot in Bangkok’s Anantara Riverside Resort, Wat Pho temple and on a boat on the Chao Phraya river. The images are absolutely breath-taking , and Rahul and Trisha look wonderful together!
Set in the beautiful Bangkok, Rahul and Trisha’s wedding celebrations lasted for four tremendous days in the Anantara Riverside Resort.
They kickstarted the first day with a beautifully intimate wedding in the presence of just their closest family and friends. Trisha looked absolutely stunning in her Manish Malhotra saree. You could see the love shining in Rahul’s eyes as Trisha walked the aisle towards him hand-in-hand with her father. And everyone shed a tear or two, as Trisha teared up during the jaimala ceremony.
The wedding day was followed by a fabulous sundowner on the roof of Avani+ Resort, the next day. The lunch themed “50 Shades of Blue” the next day was just so whimsical. Trisha, as usual was beautiful, in a gown of her own label. The lunch took a fun turn when it started raining and the elders of the family went out to dance in the rain!
The sangeet in the evening, was a grand affair. Our stunning couple entered in a vintage car and ended the night dancing on the tunes of the famous singer Hardy Sandhu. And they certainly knew how to let their hair down at the after-party! We loved how they had a separate Varmala and “sand vows” ceremony the next day, to make the promises to each other a little more personal and distinctive to their relationship.
The wedding reception was a heartfelt and emotional affair. The couple’s friends and family made toasts and speeches in their honour. The four-day extravaganza ended with, you guessed it right, dancing!
