The groom, Sushen Dang, is a competitive intelligence analyst who works in Toronto. Whereas, the bride from Bareilly is a Makeup artist. The couple had it all planned to throw a big fat Punjabi wedding ceremony in Jim Corbett. They were aware of the complications of social distancing throughout their events; however, the families and couple managed to conclude upon that. Caterers, hotels and the entry of the groom were all finalised, but unfortunately, the country was struck with the lockdown prior to the wedding.

At the time of the lockdown, the couple was miles away from each other. Sushen in Mumbai and Keerti in Bareilly which is when Dang’s friend suggested him to check the Instagram story of Shaadi.com. This was life changing, as he was fascinated with the idea of Wedding From Home on their story. It was highly unusual for any couple to tie a knot in that fashion, but this match made in heaven followed up with the digital trend and hosted the ceremony on a Zoom call.
